HITCH AWARDED « FIRST FILM PRIZE » AT JEAN ROUCH FILM FESTIVAL

Twenty-three films were selected for the 2019 international competition of the Jean Rouch Documentary film festival. All films develop a thorough investigation into social and cultural practices.
Eight prizes were awarded by three different juries, the International Jury, the Inalco Jury and the Fleury-Merogis inmates on 23 November 2019.

Chowra Makaremi received the « First Film Prize » for Hitch, an Iranian Story. The film tells her personal story which is intrinsically intertwined with Iranian post-revolution history.
